Join composer and bandleader Hyeseon Hong and the Hyeseon Hong Jazz Orchestra for a special performance at the Pier Stage as part of the Jersey City Jazz Festival. The orchestra will present new original music alongside selections from Hong’s acclaimed recent release, Things Will Pass. Blending the power of a traditional jazz orchestra with contemporary orchestral textures, lyrical storytelling, and influences from Korean musical traditions, Hong’s music creates a unique and compelling concert experience.
