Join the Hyeseon Hong Jazz Orchestra for an evening of original music at Lincoln Park Live at the Fountain on Wednesday, September 23, from 7:00–9:00 PM. This 18-piece ensemble presents contemporary large-ensemble jazz featuring rich orchestration, adventurous improvisation, and dynamic compositions by Hyeseon Hong. Set against the beautiful outdoor setting of Lincoln Park, the concert offers audiences an opportunity to experience new music performed by some of the region's outstanding jazz musicians. Admission is free and all are welcome.

Join the Hyeseon Hong Jazz Orchestra for an afternoon of original music at Brightside Tavern on Sunday, July 12, from 4:00–6:00 PM. The ensemble will present contemporary large-ensemble jazz featuring rich orchesation, expressive improvisation, and dynamic compositions by Hyeseon Hong. This special performance offers audiences the opportunity to experience new music in an intimate listening environment.

This performance is presented by Gregory Burrus Productions in partnership with the Jersey City Arts Council as part of the 24 Hours of Music Jamboree.

Hyeseon Hong Jazz Orchestra at the Jersey City Jazz Festival

Composer and bandleader Hyeseon Hong brings her acclaimed jazz orchestra to the Pier Stage at the Jersey City Jazz Festival for an afternoon of original music. Featuring an all-star ensemble including Rich Perry, Aubrey Johnson, Matt Panayides, John Lake, Josh Deutsch, and many of New York's finest jazz musicians, the orchestra will perform selections from Hong's recent album Things Will Pass alongside brand-new compositions. Free and open to the public.
